The Delaware Blue Hens go on the road to face the UNC-Wilmington Seahawks in Thursday college basketball.

The Delaware Blue Hens are off to a surprising 3-0 start in the Colonial after a 77-65 win versus visiting Elon as a seven point favorite.

Delaware took an eight point lead in to the break and protected the advantage behind 48.9% shooting and a 20-5 edge at the stripe.

The balanced Blue Hens saw 19 points and five assists from Ryan Allen with Eric Carter adding 12 points, 12 rebounds and three assists.

Darian Bryant and Kevin Anderson gave Delaware eleven points apiece followed a combined 17 points from Matt Veretto and Collin Goss.

The North Carolina-Wilmington Seahawks improved to 2-1 in the CAA following a 67-61 decision at Towson on Saturday as a two point underdog.

UNC-Wilmington led by eight at the intermission and kept Towson at bay behind a 43.3%-36.5% edge in marksmanship including four more makes from distance.

Jay Estime’ led a balanced Seahawks attack with 13 points followed by Jaylen Fornes with eleven points and three pulls. 
UNCW receive ten points apiece from Shawn O’Connell and Devontae Cacok with Cackok hauling in eleven rebounds while Jeantal Cylla chipped in with nine points.
