The Northeastern Huskies (1-0 CAA) won their 2nd straight game and improved to 7-6 on the season after defeating the Drexel Dragons, 93-83, on Friday night. Delaware will be looking to bounce back after their ugly loss this past Friday agianst Hofstra and I think they’re in a good position to do so as they rank 93rd in FG% & 140th in defensive FG%. Northeastern is one of the teams to beat in the CAA this season as they have a talented starting five led by Vasa Pusica, however, the Huskies have really struggled defensively this season as they rank just 223rd in scoring defense & 329th in defensive FG%. Delaware was able to upset Northeastern on the road last season and as I think the Blue Hens offensive led by Eric Carter and Kevin Anderson will have some success agianst the Huskies defense, I’m taking Delaware and the points in this one.
