Northern Arizona Lumberjacks -11 O/U: 147.5
The Idaho Vandals and the Northern Arizona Lumberjacks will match up on the college basketball circuit Thursday.
Idaho is currently 4-21 on the year. The Vandals are currently on an 11-game losing streak, dropping to Montana, Montana State, Northern Colorado and Eastern Washington in just their last four.
In the loss to the Eagles, Idaho’s lead scorer was Cameron Tyson with 18 points and four rebounds. Also in double-figures for the Vandals there were Scott Blakney (12 points) and Jared Rodriguez (11 points).
Over on the Northern Arizona side, they’re 8-17 on the season. After four straight losses to Eastern Washington, Idaho State, Weber State and Portland State, the Lumberjacks got a win versus Sac State in their last game.
In the win over the Hornets, Northern Arizona’s lead scorer was Carlos Hines with 17 points and 10 assists. Nik Mains added 16 points for the Lumberjacks in that one, and Luke Avdalovic had 14 points and three assists.
The Vandals are 7-19 ATS in their last 26 after an ATS loss and 6-21 ATS in their last 27 overall. Idaho is 1-4 ATS in their last five road games and 3-14 ATS in their last 17 Thursday games.
Meanwhile, the Lumberjacks are 3-8 ATS in the last 11 after an ATS win and 1-4 ATS in their last five overall. NAU is 1-4 ATS in their last five versus the Big Sky and 0-5 ATS in their last five Thursday games.
Well, there’s not much to get excited about when it comes to the Vandals these days, but they did put up 73 points versus Northern AZ and 72 against Montana State recently, so that’s something.
Speaking of Northern AZ, they bagged an 86-73 road win the last time these teams met up, and we’ll probably see something even more lopsided here. I’m going to stick with the Lumberjacks.
