The Northern Colorado Bears welcome the Eastern Washington Eagles to town in Big Sky college basketball on Monday.
The Eastern Washington Eagles fell to 1-2 in the Big Sky after Thursday’s 74-71 loss at Idaho as a 2.5 point road favorite.
Eastern Washington fell behind by 20 points at the break before a huge rally ran out of time with the Vandals holding a 50%-40.7% shooting advantage.
The balanced Eagles offense received 17 points, six boards and four helpers from Mason Peatling with Jesse Hunt adding 14 points, six boards and three helpers.
Ty Gibson gave EWU eleven points while Cody Benzel and Jacob Davison tossed in ten points and eight points respectively.
The Northern Colorado Bears ran their conference record to 3-0 following an 82-79 OT victory against visiting Idaho as a 15 point favorite on Saturday.
Northern Colorado was outshot 49.2%-43.9% and really struggled at the charity stripe with only a 14-29 performance which almost cost the team a win.
Jordan Davis saved the Bears as he led all scorers with 29 points, nine rebounds and five helpers while Bodie Hume added 12 points and six boards.
Trent Harris gave Northern Colorado eleven points followed by Jonah Radebaugh and Cole Bergan with eight and seven points and a combined nine assists.

I think Eastern Washington is a bit better then their record but I still don’t like this all that much…
