The Ball State Cardinals and Ohio Bobcats meet in a MAC college basketball tilt.
The Ball State Cardinals are looking to start another hot streak after an 83-63 defeat at the hands of the visiting Buffalo Bulls ended their winning at nine games. Ball State trailed by 18 heading to the locker room and never found the shooting touch with the team being outshot 47.7%-36.5%.
Sean Sellers was the Cardinals most dependable scorer with 17 points and a pair of steals on 6-11 from the floor including a 5-8 performance from beyond the arc. Francis Kipaway gave Ball State nine points and four pulls followed by the twosome of Tayler Persons and Tahjai Teague with Teague posting seven boards.
The Ohio Bobcats are aiming for back to back conference wins after upending the Northern Illinois Huskies 78-68 as a seven point home favorite on Saturday. Ohio jumped to a 14 point lead at the halfway point behind a 56.5%-43.3% marksmanship advantage and a 17-9 edge at the foul line.
Mike Laster pumped in 31 points to lead all scorers with 31 points and four pulls on 10-12 from the floor including 5-6 on long balls. Treyvion Kirk gave the Bobcats 16 points and six rebounds while Gavin Block, Jordan Dantis and Kevin Mickle combined for 27 points, nine rebounds and eight assists.
