Ohio Bobcats -1.5 O/U: 128.5
The Eastern Michigan Eagles and the Ohio Bobcats will meet up on the college basketball circuit Tuesday.
The Eagles enter this matchup with a 10-13 mark on the year. Following consecutive losses versus Central Michigan and Miami OH, Eastern Michigan managed a win versus Northern Illinois their last time out.
In the win over the Huskies, Eastern Michigan’s Paul Jackson led the team on 23 points with eight assists. The only other Eagles player in double-figures there was Elijah Minnie with 11 points and four rebounds.
Over on the Ohio side, they’re 11-11 this year. The Bobcats have lost their last three straight games, falling to Northern Illinois, Akron and Miami OH during that stretch of appearances.
In the loss to the RedHawks, Ohio’s Teyvion Kirk led the team with 18 points, six rebounds and two assists. Jason Carter added 16 points and six rebounds for the Bobcats in that one, and Ben Vander Plas logged 12 points.
EMU is 4-1 ATS in their last five road games and 13-4 ATS in their last 17 versus the MAC. The Eagles are 10-4 ATS in their last 14 after an ATS win and 2-7 ATS in their last nine after a straight-up win.
Meanwhile, the Bobcats are 5-17 ATS in the last 22 overall and 2-8 ATS in their last 10 after an ATS loss. Ohio is 1-5 ATS in their last six home games and 1-6 ATS in their last seven versus the MAC.
Following a couple of good scoring performances where they put up 175 points across two games, the Eagles have faltered in their last pair with just 105 points scored combined.
The good news for Eastern Michigan there is that the Bobcats have managed 60 points or fewer in each of their last three games. I’m not thrilled with the Eagles right now but I do think they’re capable of pounding out a road win and cover here.
