The Line: Oklahoma State Cowboys -1.5 -- Over/Under: 136
The Houston Cougars and the Oklahoma State Cowboys will meet up in college basketball activity on Saturday.
Houston rolls in here at 7-0 overall. The Cougars have thus far taken out Alabama A&M, Rice, NW State, BYU, UTRGV, Oregon and Lamar in succession this season.
In the Cardinals game, Houston’s Galen Robinson topped the scorers with 20 points, four assists and three rebounds. Armoni Brooks added 17 points and nine rebounds for the Cougars in that one.
Over on the Oklahoma State side, they’re 4-4 this year. The Cowboys have beaten UTSA, Charleston, Memphis and LSU but dropped to Charlotte, Villanova, Minnesota and Tulsa so far.
In the Golden Hurricane matchup, OK State’s Mike Cunningham led the way on 14 points, two rebounds and two assists, while Lindy Waters and Thomas Dziagwa each had 12 points with eight assists and nine boards between them.
The Cougars are 5-0 ATS in their last five road games and 4-1 ATS in their last five versus the Big 12. Houston is 3-1-1 ATS in their last five overall and 18-7-1 ATS in their last 26 Saturday games.
Meanwhile, the Cowboys are 5-1 ATS in their last six following a straight-up loss and 6-2 ATS in their last eight Saturday games. OK State is 7-3 ATS in their last 10 following an ATS loss and 1-4 ATS in their lsat five versus the AAC.
Houston has had a few scoring duds here and there this season, but on the whole they’re looking like a pretty talented team that could do some damage down the line.
As for OK State, it’s tough knowing what you’ll get from game to game with them, but they haven’t been scoring too badly over their last few matchups.
Still, I’m all Houston here.
