CUSA college basketball action pits the Old Dominion Monarchs against the Florida Atlantic Owls.

The Old Dominion Monarchs evened their conference record at 1-1 with a 69-66 win against Western Kentucky as a 3.5 point home favorite.

Old Dominion used a 37-27 second half run to come back from a seven point deficit with 40.9% shooting and eleven more shots edging out the 43.6% accuracy of the Hilltoppers.

BJ Stith topped the Monarchs with 19 points and 12 rebounds while Ahmad Caver added 18 points, four pulls and six helpers.

ODU received nine points and two blocks from Dajour Dickens followed by a combined 15 points from Xavier Greene and Justice Kithcart.

The Florida Atlantic Owls are gunning for back to back victories after downing Middle Tennessee 63-56 on Saturday as a 2.5 point underdog.

Florida Atlantic trailed by seven points at the intermission before rallying in the second half with 33.3% shooting and 15 more shots combining with a 15-5 edge at the line to overcome the Blue Raiders 45.1% marksmanship.

Anthony Adger was the Owls only double digit scorer as he exploded for a contest high 33  points, four pulls and two steals.

FAU saw the trio of Aleksandar Zecevic, Xavian Stapleton and Karlis Silina toss in eight points apiece to give the offense some balance.
