The Arkansas Razorbacks and the Ole Miss Rebels meet in SEC conference college basketball action from the Pavilion at Ole Miss on Saturday afternoon.

The Arkansas Razorbacks will be looking to rebound after suffering a 3rd straight loss in a 106-87 loss to Tennessee in their last outing. Isaiah Joe led the Hogs with 23 points on 7 of 13 shooting from 3-point range with a pair of steals while Mason Jones added 18 points with team-highs of 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Reggie Chaney chipped in 11 points and 6 rebounds while Daniel Gafford added 10 points and 7 rebounds of his own with a pair of steals to finish off the scoring in double figures for Arkansas in the loss, while Jalen Harris also contributed 6 points and 5 assists. Gafford leads Arkansas with an average of 17 points and 9.3 rebounds per game while Harris leads the Razorbacks in assists with 6.4 assists per game this season. As a team, Arkansas is averaging 80.1 points per game on 45.1% shooting from the field, 33.7% from behind the 3-point line and 63.8% from the foul line this season.

The Ole Miss Rebels will look to bounce back after an 83-69 loss to LSU in their most recent outing. Terence Davis led the Rebels with 21 points on 8 of 20 shooting with 4 threes, 10 rebounds and a pair of steals for the double-double while KJ Buffen added 13 points on a perfect 5 of 5 from the floor in 19 minutes with 3 steals and Breein Tyree added 12 points to round out the trio of double-digit scorers for Ole Miss in the defeat. Devontae Shuler matched his 6 points with a team-high 6 assists as well in the victory. Tyree leads Ole Miss in scoring with 17.2 points per game while Davis leads the Rebels with averages of 5.9 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game this season. As a team, Ole Miss is averaging 79.1 points per game on 49.3% shooting from the field, 37.4% from behind the 3-point line and 74.8% from the foul line this season.

Arkansas is 1-4 ATS in their last 5 conference games and 1-8 ATS in their last 9 games overall while the under is 5-2 in their last 7 games following a loss. Ole Miss is 6-1 ATS in their last 7 home games and 16-5 ATS in their last 21 games overall while the under is 17-7 in their last 24 conference games. Arkansas is 9-23-2 ATS in the last 34 meetings between these two teams and 3-13-1 ATS in the last 17 meetings between these two teams at Ole Miss.

The Razorbacks have shown an ability to score, making points on the road tempting in this matchup. However, Arkansas can’t keep points off of the board, giving up 94 and 106 points in their last two outings. Numbers like that won’t fly considering the Hogs’ struggles ATS both in SEC play and on the road, especially when the Rebels have been killing the spread for most of the season. The Razorbacks have also had a ton of issues against Ole Miss over the years, especially at the Pavilion, so I’ll lay the points with Ole Miss to pick up a win and cover here.

Ole Miss -6.5
