Ole Miss Rebels +5.5 O/U: 139.5
The Kentucky Wildcats and the Ole Miss Rebels will meet up on the college basketball court Tuesday.
Kentucky currently sits at 24-5 this year. Following consecutive wins over Tennessee, Missouri, Auburn and Arkansas, the Wildcats fell in their last outing Saturday versus Tennessee.
In the loss to Tennessee, Kentucky’s only player in double-figures was PJ Washington on 13 points with three rebounds and two assists. Nick Richards and Keldon Johnson each hauled in seven rebounds with a combined 15 points for the Wildcats there.
Over on the the Rebels side, they’re 19-10 this season. Ole Miss is just 1-3 in their last four games, with a win over Georgia mixed in with losses to South Carolina, Tennessee and Arkansas.
In the loss to the Razorbacks, Ole Miss’ Breein Tyree led the team on 20 points with five assists and two rebounds. Bruce Stevens, Devontae Shuler and Terence Davis each scored 12 points for the Rebels in that game as well.
The Wildcats are 5-2 ATS in their last seven road games and 10-4 ATS in their last 14 overall. Kentucky is 9-4 ATS in their last 13 versus the SEC and 5-2 ATS in their last seven road games versus a team with a winning home record.
Meanwhile, the Rebels are 15-5 ATS in the last 20 after an ATS win and 22-8 ATS in their last 30 overall. Ole Miss is 5-2 ATS in their last seven versus the SEC and 2-6 ATS in their last eight Tuesday games.
Considering Kentucky drilled Tennessee 86-69 in their first meeting back on February 16, the 71-52 loss Saturday is certainly a surprise—but by no means signals the Wildcats’ demise.
That said, Ole Miss has been scoring pretty well lately and should put up a good fight at home in this one. I’m sticking with Kentucky to win, but the final score may be a lot closer than some people think. Give me the Rebels on the cover.
