The Arizona State Sun Devils and the Oregon State Beavers meet in Pac-12 college basketball action from the Gill Coliseum on Sunday evening.

The Arizona State Sun Devils will look to rebound after a 79-51 loss to Oregon in their last outing. Remy Martin led the Sun Devils with 13 points along with 3 threes and a team-high 6 assists while Rob Edwards added 11 points as the only other double-digit scorer for Arizona State in the losing effort. Luguentz Dort had 7 points with 4 steals while De’Quon Lake had 7 points with a team-high 7 rebounds and 3 blocks as well in the loss. Dort leads Arizona State in scoring with 16.1 points per game while Martin leads the Sun Devils in assists with 5.2 assists per game and Zylan Cheatham leads Arizona State on the glass by averaging a double-double per game with 11.6 points and a team-high 10.5 rebounds per game this season. As a team, Arizona State is averaging 78.1 points per game on 44.5% shooting from the field, 33.6% from behind the arc and 66.9% from the foul line this season.

The Oregon State Beavers will look to find some consistency after alternating wins and losses in each of their last 4 games following a 74-72 loss to Arizona last time out. Tres Tinkle led the Beavers with 24 points on 7 of 12 shooting with a pair of threes, an 8 of 10 mark from the foul line and a team-high 5 rebounds. Ethan Thompson came 2nd with 18 points along with a team-high 5 assists and Stephen Thompson Jr. added 17 points with 3 steals to round out the trio of double-digit scorers for Oregon State in the loss. Kylor Kelley added a team-high 5 blocks as well in the losing effort for the Beavers. Tinkle leads Oregon State with an average of 20 points, 8 rebounds and 4.1 assists per game this season. As a team, Oregon State is averaging 73.5 points per game on 46.9% shooting from the field, 32.4% from behind the arc and 73.9% from the foul line this season.

Arizona State is 5-13-2 ATS in their last 20 road games and 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games following a loss while the over is 3-1-1 in their last 5 games against a team with a winning record. Oregon State is 14-6 ATS in their last 20 conference games and 11-5 ATS in their last 16 games overall while the over is 4-1 in their last 5 games following a loss. Arizona State is 1-4 ATS in the last 5 meetings between these two teams and 1-4 ATS in the last 5 meetings between these two teams at Arizona State.

Both of these teams burned me in their respective last times out on the floor, but I’m more inclined to side with Oregon State at home here. Arizona State hasn’t had much luck recently at the Gill Coliseum and Oregon State has been performing better as of late ATS when it comes to the rest of the Pac-12. I’d probably leave this game alone, but if forced to pick, the line isn’t too bad so laying the points with Oregon State is probably the way to go here.

Pick:
Oregon State -2
