Oregon Ducks -10.5 O/U: 142
The Washington State Cougars and the Oregon Ducks will meet up on the college basketball court from the Pac-12 Tournament Wednesday.
Washington State enters this matchup on an 11-20 mark so far. The Cougars are sitting on a five-game losing streak, falling to Utah, Stanford, California, Oregon and Oregon State in that time.
In the loss to the Beavers, Washington State’s lead scorer was Robert Franks with 37 points, nine rebounds and three assists. Jeff Pollard added 13 points for the Cougars there and CJ Elleby had 12 rebounds with six points.
Over on the Oregon side, they’re sitting at 19-12 this year. The Ducks have won their last four straight games, taking out Arizona State, Arizona, Washington State and Washington in that stretch.
In the win over the Huskies, Oregon’s Payton Pritchard led the team with 16 points, three rebounds and three assists. Paul White chipped in 10 points for the Ducks in that game, and Francis Okoro added 10 rebounds and nine points.
Washington State is 1-4 ATS in their last five neutral-site games and 0-4 ATS in their last four after a straight-up loss. The Cougars are 0-4 ATS in their last four after an ATS loss and 0-5 ATS in their last five versus the Pac-12.
Meanwhile, the Ducks are 4-0 ATS in their last four overall and 1-6-1 ATS in their last eight neutral-site games. Oregon is 2-5 ATS in their last seven Wednesday games and 4-0 ATS in their last four versus the Pac-12.
Well, this five-game losing streak for the Cougars isn’t generating a whole lot of confidence. In that span, Washington State failed to hit 70 points in three games, and allowed at least 72 points in all of them.
The Ducks have had a lot of issues of their own, but they’ve also cleaned up quite a bit over the last four games or so and are coming into tournament play on a nice run. I’m going to go with Oregon on a dominant cover here.
