The Wisconsin Badgers take the hardwood with Oregon Ducks in first round NCAA college basketball action.

The Oregon Ducks have turned their game around at the right time with four wins in the PAC 12 capped off by a 68-48 rout of top seed Washington in the title game.

Payton Prichard topped the Ducks with 20 points, six boards and seven helpers while Louis King tossed in 15 points with three yanks.

Oregon received 14 points, two pulls and two assists from Paul White followed Will Richardson who chipped in with eight points and snagged three boards.

The Wisconsin Badgers enter the Big Dance as an ‘at-large’ after a 67-55 defeat to the Michigan State Spartans in the Big Ten semifinals.

Ethan Happ was the Badgers top gun with 20 points, six rebounds, three assists and four blocks with Kobe King netting 13 points and posting three boards.

Khalil Iverson gave Wisconsin eight points and five pulls while D’Mitrik Trice and Brad Davison added seven and five points with a combined seven rebounds.

Oregon Ducks are 6-0 ATS in their last 6 games vs. a team with a winning straight up record and are 8-0 ATS in their last 8 games overall and are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 neutral site games and  are 3-1-1 ATS in their last 5 NCAA Tournament games.

Wisconsin Badgers are 4-1-1 ATS in their last 6 NCAA Tournament games and  are 6-2 ATS in their last 8 vs. Pacific-12 and  are 2-7-1 ATS in their last 10 games overall and  are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games following a straight up loss.

Wisconsin is the better team but sometimes a team gets hot at the right time and can upset the apple cart. That’s what I see with Oregon so I’ll take the points and hope for more…

Pick:
Oregon +2

I have been a sports fan since I was old enough to pick up a ball and have always been drawn to competition. I don't participate in sporting events any longer but I do like to provide my opinion on games and writing gives me that outlet. I won't always be right but I always put 100% in to every article I do whether it's the World Series or an 0-10 college football team. Mitch shares that same passion and allows me to express myself in my own way.
