Penn Quakers -7 O/U: 144
The Brown Bears and the Penn Quakers meet in college basketball action from the Palestra on Friday.
Brown comes into this one at 11-8 on the year. The Bears are riding a four-game winning streak right now, dispatching Cornell, Columbia, Dartmouth and Harvard during that stretch.
In the win over the Crimson, Brown’s lead scorer was Brandon Anderson with 22 points and four rebounds. Tamenang Choh added 17 points with six rebounds there, and Zach Hunsaker chipped in 12 points.
Over on the Penn side, they’re 12-7 on the year. The Quakers are on a five-game winning streak, beating Temple, Harvard, Dartmouth, Columbia and Cornell during that time.
In the win over the Red, Penn’s Devon Goodman led the team with 18 points and five rebounds. Jordan Dingle added 17 points there, and Max Martz had 17 points with seven rebounds and one assist.
The Quakers are 8-3 ATS in the last 11 home games and 5-0 ATS in their last five overall. The over is 9-3 in Penn’s last 12 Friday games and the under is 8-3 in their last 11 home games.
Meanwhile, the Bears are 3-10-2 ATS in their last 15 Friday games and 1-6-1 ATS in their last eight after a straight-up win. Brown is 1-7-1 ATS in their last nine road games and the over is 3-1-1 in their last five overall.
Brown has been on a pretty good offensive roll during this four-game win streak, posting at least 72 points in three of those, and holding opponents to 66 points or fewer in three as well. Brown had a couple of down performances against a good Yale team but other than that they’ve looked good lately.
Penn has been on a solid run as well, with at least 75 scored in three of their last four. This should be a pretty fun matchup, but I like the Quakers a little better here. Probably staying away though.
