The Penn Quakers host the St. Joseph’s Hawks in non-conference college basketball action.

The Saint Joseph’s Hawks are gunning for back to back wins after downing Richmond 74-70 as a 3.5 point home favorite on Wednesday.

The Penn Quakers snapped a four game slide with a 77-70 victory against Big Five rival Temple a week ago as a seven point underdog.

Penn jumped to a ten point lead at the intermission and kept Temple at arm’s length the rest of the way behind 52.8% sharpshooting.

AJ Brodeur did everything for the Quakers with 16 points, seven rebounds and five helpers with Devon Goodman adding 15 points, three yanks and four assists.

St. Joseph’s Hawks are 12-3 ATS in their last 15 vs. Ivy League and  are 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games overall and  are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 non-conference games. Penn Quakers are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 vs. Atlantic 10 and  are 6-2 ATS in their last 8 non-conference games and  are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games overall. Over is 7-3 in the last 10 meetings and St. Joseph’s Hawks are 9-4 ATS in the last 13 meetings.

I think both teams will be able to score some points so something small on the over…

I have been a sports fan since I was old enough to pick up a ball and have always been drawn to competition. I don't participate in sporting events any longer but I do like to provide my opinion on games and writing gives me that outlet. I won't always be right but I always put 100% in to every article I do whether it's the World Series or an 0-10 college football team. Mitch shares that same passion and allows me to express myself in my own way.
