Quinnipiac Bobcats -2 O/U: 143.5
The Canisius Golden Griffins and the Quinnipiac Bobcats will meet up in college basketball action on Thursday.
Canisius enters this matchup at 5-11 on the year. The Griffins have lost three straight games since beating Siena on January 5, dropping to Brown, Rider and Iona in that span.
In the loss to the Gaels, Canisius’ lead scorer was Malik Johnson with 14 points, four assists and two rebounds. Takal Molson chipped in 13 points and five boards while Isaiah Reese logged 10 points, eight assists and five rebounds for the Griffins.
Over on the Bobcats’ side, they’re sitting at 8-7 right now. Quinnipiac is 3-1 in their last four games, falling to Rider and taking out Manhattan, Monmouth and Fairfield otherwise.
In the win over the Stags, Quinnipiac’s top scorer was Cameron Young on 20 points, five assists and six rebounds. Aaron Robinson and Abdulai Bundu each chipped in 12 points with a combined 11 rebounds.
The Griffins are 4-0 ATS in their last four road games and 7-3 ATS in their last 10 versus the MAA. Canisius is also 4-11 ATS in their last 15 overall and 2-9 ATS in their last 11 after an ATS loss.
Meanwhile, the Bobcats are 3-0-1 ATS in their last four overall and 3-0-1 ATS in their last four versus the MAA. Quinnipiac is 4-1 ATS in their last five Thursday games and 9-3-1 ATS in their last 13 after a straight-up win.
In contrast to some of their games earlier in the season, Canisius has been getting into shootouts lately. With the Griffins’ offense, they can usually keep up pretty well, but most times end up coughing away too many points on the other side.
Quinnipiac has their moments of ineffectiveness as well, but on the whole they’re putting up points pretty consistently. I’m going to stick with the Bobcats here.
