The Marist Red Foxes travel to the Quinnipiac Bobcats in Friday MAAC college basketball.

The Marist Red Foxes have  won three  of  four following  a  79-58 victory against Niagara as a 2.5 point home favorite.

Marist isn’t  a big  offense  with an  average  south of 70 points but the Purple Eagles defense was a good matchup. 

Ryan Funk led all scorers with 25 points and six boards while the Red Foxes saw 12 points and six helpers from Darius Hines.

Aleksandar Dozic gave Marist eleven points, seven rebounds and seven assists followed by Brian Parker with eight points and five pulls.

The Quinnipiac Bobcats ran their winning streak to three games after outlasting visiting Rider 98-88 in OT on Tuesday as a one point underdog.

Quinnipiac  has climbed  to 4th  in the  conference  and could be higher in the standings if not for numerous close defeats.

Cameron Young was the main weapon for the Bobcats with 25 points, eight rebounds and five assists with Tyrese Williams tossing in 13 points.

Jacob Rigoni gave Quinnipiac 14 points, 12 rebounds and five helpers while Rich Kelly netted 16 points and committed eight turnovers.

Marist Red Foxes are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games overall and Marist Red Foxes are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 vs. Metro Atlantic Athletic.
