The Gardner-Webb Runnin’ Bulldogs visit Big South rival the Radford Highlanders in Thursday college basketball action.

The Gardner-Webb Runnin’ Bulldogs look for second straight conference victory after downing South Carolina-Upstate 64-59 on Saturday.

The normally high scoring Garner-Webb offense saw David Efianayi burn South Carolina Upstate for 18 points and four pulls.

DJ Laster and Nate Johnson gave the Bulldogs 12 points apiece with Laster hauling in nine rebounds followed by Jose Perez and Eric Jamison Jr. with a combined 15 points.

The Radford Highlanders ran their conference record to 3-0 with a 79-77 victory Presbyterian on Saturday as a ten point home favorite.

Radford looked to be in command with a ten point lead at the intermission but couldn’t put the Blue Hose away despite 51.1% shooting.

Ed Polite Jr. helped the Highlanders avoid the upset with a game high 22 points and nine rebounds with Carlik Jones adding 15 points, eleven helpers and six boards.

Donald Hicks gave Radford eleven points while the duo  of Caleb Turner and Travis Fields Jr. tossed in a combined 17 points.

Under is 6-2 in Gardner-Webb last 8 overall and Gardner-Webb are 6-2 ATS in their last 8 vs. Big South. Radford Highlanders are 5-2 ATS in their last 7 home games and Radford Highlanders are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games overall.
