The Davidson Wildcats go on the road to face the Rhode Island Rams in an Atlantic Ten college basketball tilt.

The Davidson Wildcats are looking to bounce back from a 74-73 defeat at the hands of visiting VCU on Tuesday as a two point favorite.

Davidson was knocked from the top spot in the conference with Tuesday’s loss but have several weeks to retake the lead if the team keeps winning.

Jon Axel Gudmundsson carried the Wildcats with 26 points, eight rebounds and five assists with Kellan Grady adding 18 points and four pulls.

Davidson received 13 points from KiShawn Pritchett while Dusan Kovacevic and Luke Frampton chipped in with six points each and a combined nine boards.

The struggles of the Rhode Island Rams continued in a 76-42 loss to visiting VCU on Tuesday as an eight point underdog. 

Rhode Island has dropped four in a row and six  of seven to fall to 9thin the conference with the team needing a quick change in momentum with the playoffs approaching.

Jeff Dowtin topped the Rams offense with 14 points, four pulls and four assists with Jermaine Harris tossing in eleven points and totaling five pulls.

Cyril Langevine gave Rhode Island another ten points and eleven rebounds while six other players combined for seven points.
