Wednesday college basketball action features the St. Bonaventure Bonnies facing the Rhode Island Rams.

The St. Bonaventure Bonnies have won consecutive contests after downing Fordham 71-64 on Saturday as a seven point favorite.

St. Bonaventure jumped to a 16 point lead after 20 minutes and fended off a Rams second half rally behind 50% marksmanship and 19 more makes at the stripe.

The Bonnies twosome of LaDarien Griffin and Courtney Stockard gave the Bonnies 17 points apiece with a combined 14 rebounds and eight helpers.

St. Bonaventure saw Osun Osunniyi toss in 16 points and haul in 12 rebounds followed by Kyle Lofton with 12 points and three assists.

The Rhode Island Rams have been struggling to win back to back games for a month and that trend continued in an 84-67 loss to visiting George Mason on Sunday.

Rhode Island trailed by eleven at the halfway point and were unable to mount a come back with the Patriots holding a 51.7%-41.5% shooting edge.

Cyril Langevine  led  the Rams  with 15  points and  15 rebounds while Jeff Dowtin added another 15 points and four helpers.

Fatts Russell gave Rhode Island eleven points followed by Omar Siverio and Tyrese Martin with ten points apiece with Martin posting five boards.

St. Bonaventure are 0-7-1 ATS in their last 8 road games and under is 10-1-1 in St. Bonaventure last 12 road games. Rhode Island  are 7-0-1 ATS in their last 8 Wednesday games and under is 9-2 in Rhode Island last 11 Wednesday games. St. Bonaventure  are 10-4 ATS in the last 14 meetings and over is 13-6 in the last 19 meetings.

I could be way off base but this seems like too many points which I can’t ignore…
