The MAAC college basketball playoffs features the Rider Broncs facing the Siena Saints.

The Siena Saints kick off the MAAC postseason off a 72-65 overtime victory at the Niagara Purple Eagles as a one point favorite on Sunday.

Jalen Pickett was the Saints main weapon with 27 points, six boards and eight helpers with Evan Fisher adding 15 points and ten rebounds.

Kevin Degnan gave Siena 12 points and eight boards followed by Kadeem Smithen and Sloan Seymour with a combined 14 with Smithen posting eight boards.

The Saints played well in the final month of the season with wins in seven of ten to finish 4thin the conference behind a slow half court attack.

The Rider Broncs ended their schedule with a 75-64- victory at the Marist Red Foxes on Sunday afternoon as a two point road favorite.

Jordan Allen topped the Broncs with 23 points and two yanks with Stevie Jordan netting 13 points with seven rebounds and four assists.

Anthony Durham gave Rider another 13 points and two pulls followed by Frederick Scott and Tyere Marshall with six points apiece.

Rider sat atop the conference a month ago but suffered through a two week slump before winning four of five to finish third.

Siena Saints are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 Saturday games and  are 5-13 ATS in their last 18 games following a straight up win.

Rider Broncs are 3-10-1 ATS in their last 14 games overall and are 3-10-1 ATS in their last 14 vs. Metro Atlantic Athletic and  are 3-12-1 ATS in their last 16 games following a ATS win.

Siena Saints are 5-2 ATS in the last 7 meetings and under is 12-5 in the last 17 meetings.

The Saints are the kings of the close games which has me looking at the points…
