The Rutgers Scarlet Knights welcome the Penn State Nittany Lions to town for a Wednesday college basketball matchup.

The Penn State Nittany Lions saw their three game winning streak come to an end in a 61-57 defeat at Wisconsin as a 6.5 point underdog.

Lamar Stevens kept the Nittany Lions in upset mode with 22 points and ten rebounds with Josh Reeves adding 14 points and nine boards.

Penn State received eight points from Rasir Boyd in 30 minutes followed by Jamari Wheeler with four points, five boards and four assists.

The Rutgers Scarlet Knights have a third straight win within their grasp following an 86-72 rout of the Iowa Hawkeyes on Saturday.

The Scarlet Knights leaned on Ron Harper Jr. with  his  27 points and five pulls followed by a 13 point effort from Issa Thiam.

Caleb McConnell gave Rutgers eleven points and five yanks while Montaz Mathis and Geo Baker combined for 19 points with Baker posting six boards and nine rebounds.
