Thursday college basketball brings us to the Big Sky where the Southern Utah Thunderbirds visit the Sacramento State Hornets.

The Southern Utah Thunderbirds are riding a three game winning streak after downing Idaho State 78-72 as a five point home favorite.

This game was tied after 20 minutes but Southern Utah avoided the upset with 50% marksmanship which was the difference.

Andre Adams carried the Thunderbirds with 16 points and ten rebounds with Cameron Oluyitan  adding 14 points and seven boards.

Dre Marin gave Southern Utah 13 points, five pulls and four assists followed by Jacob Calloway with 13 points and three yanks.

The Sacramento State Hornets come off of a 78-67 victory against Portland State as a four point home favorite on Monday.

Sacramento State doesn’t possess a high scoring offense and rely on their defense to succeed but put everything together here.

Marcus Graves led Sacramento State with 16 points and five assists with Ethan Esposito adding another 16 points and six boards.

The Hornets saw 15 points from Osi Nwachukwu followed by Bryce Fowler and Joshua Patton with ten and nine points.
