The Weber State Wildcats and the Sacramento State Hornets will meet up in college basketball action on Thursday.

Weber State is sitting at 16-10 on the year. The Wildcats are 2-2 in their last four games, dropping to Southern Utah and Montana while beating Northern Arizona and Montana State.

In the win over the Bobcats, Weber State’s Jerrick Harding led the team with 28 points, two rebounds and two assists. Cody John added 18 points with five assists and five rebounds in that one for the Wildcats, and Caleb Nero put up 19 points.

Over on the Sacramento State side, they're’ 11-12 this year. The Hornets are also 2-2 in the last four games, beating Portland State and Southern Utah with losses to Northern Colorado and Northern Arizona.

In the loss to the Lumberjacks, Sacramento State’s Marcus Graves led the way on 18 points, and Bryce Fowler added 16 points. Joshua Patton led the rebounding for the Hornets in that one with 10 alongside four assists and six points.

The Wildcats are 4-1 ATS in their last five road games and 8-3 ATS in their last 11 overall. Weber State is 8-3 ATS in their last 11 versus the Big Sky and 3-7 ATS in their last 10 Thursday games.

Meanwhile, the Hornets are 5-0 ATS in their last five after a straight-up loss and 4-0 ATS in their last four Thursday games. Sac State is 4-0 ATS in their last four after an ATS loss and the under is 5-0 in their last five after an ATS loss.

The last time these teams met up was a 75-65 home victory for Weber State, and the game was effectively over by halftime since Sac State couldn’t get much going offensively.

Considering that the Hornets have put up 162 combined points across their last two home games, I’m going to give them the benefit of the doubt here and take them on a cover. I’ll go Sacramento State, but I’m probably staying away in reality.
