Eral Penn gave the Blackbirds another eleven points and nine rebounds followed by Ashtyn Bradley and Ty Flowers with a combined 20 points with Flowers grabbing nine boards.
The Blackbirds were tied for 5thwith Saint Francis (NY) at 9-9 in the NEC and a 15-15 record overall as the team outscored the opposition 74.6-73.4.
The Sacred Heart Pioneers won three in a row to close their schedule after outscoring Saint Francis (PA) 94-84 on Saturday as a 2.5 point favorite.
Koreem Ozier paced the balanced Pioneers with 19 points with EJ Anosike who tossed in another 18 points and hauled in ten rebounds.
Sean Hoehn gave Sacred Heart 14 points, four pulls and five helpers while Cameron Parker and Aaron Clarke netted 12 points each and Jare’l Spellman contributed ten points and eight boards.
The Pioneers were tied for third in the conference at 11-7 with Robert Morris and were an offense first squad that averaged 80.5 points on 46.3% shooting.
