Atlantic Ten college basketball action pits the St. Joseph’s Hawks against the Rhode Island Rams.

The Rhode Island Rams have won consecutive contests after squeezing by the Dayton Flyers 72-70 in OT as a seven point road dog.

Cyril Langevine paced the Rhode Island upset with 26 points and eight rebounds while Fatts Russell added 23 points, six boards and five assists.

Rhode Island saw ten points and five assists from Jeff Dowtin followed by Dana Tate who tossed in nine points and grabbed four boards.

The Saint Joseph’s Hawks are on a modest two game winning streak following a 72-62 win versus the La Salle Explorers as a seven point home favorite.

Chris  Clover was  the  top gun  for  the Hawks  with  19 points  and  four pulls  with  Lamarr Kimble  netting  another 18 points.

Jared Bynum gave Saint Joseph’s eleven points, five boards and four assists followed by Charlie Brown Jr. and Lorenzo Edwards with nine points each.
