The Saint Joseph’s Hawks host the Saint Louis Billikens in Friday college basketball.

The Saint Louis Billikens come off of a 73-60 victory against Dayton on Tuesday as a two point home dog which snapped a four game slide.

St. Louis jumped to a 12 point lead at the intermission and traded baskets the rest of the way with a 20-11 advantage at the line being the main difference.

DJ Foreman carried the Billikens with 18 points and nine rebounds with Javon Bess adding 14 points and three yanks.

Saint Louis saw 12 points and seven boards from Fred Thatch Jr. followed by Tramaine Isabell Jr. and Hasahn French with a combined 21 points.

The struggles of the Saint Joseph’s Hawks continued in an 83-69 defeat at La Salle as a 1.5 point underdog on Tuesday for their third loss in four contests.

St. Joes fell behind by six at the halfway point and lost control in the second half with the Explorers burning the nets at 53.7%.

Lorenzo Edwards was the Hawks top option with 22 points and four pulls followed by Charlie Brown Jr. with 19 points, four yanks and five helpers.

Troy Holston gave Saint Joseph’s another 13 points with Taylor Funk and Chris Clover tossing in six and five points with six rebounds.

Saint Louis  are 3-7 ATS in their last 10 Friday games and under is 23-11-1 in Saint Louis last 35 road games. Under is 7-1 in St. Joseph’s last 8 home games and St. Joseph’s are 2-6 ATS in their last 8 home games. Saint Louis  are 13-0 ATS in the last 13 meetings.

I hate laying points with Saint Louis on the road but the Hawks aren’t a great option either…

I have been a sports fan since I was old enough to pick up a ball and have always been drawn to competition. I don't participate in sporting events any longer but I do like to provide my opinion on games and writing gives me that outlet. I won't always be right but I always put 100% in to every article I do whether it's the World Series or an 0-10 college football team. Mitch shares that same passion and allows me to express myself in my own way.
