Duquesne at Saint Louis
|Date & Time||Wednesday March 6, 2019, 8:00 PM (EST)|
St. Louis, Missouri
Saint Louis Billikens -7 O/U: 136.5
The Duquesne Dukes and the St. Louis Billikens will meet up on the college basketball circuit Wednesday.
Duquesne currently sits at 19-10 this year. The Dukes are 3-1 in their last four games, with a loss to St. Bonaventure mixed into wins over GW, George Mason and UMass in that span.
In the win over the Minutemen, Duquesne guard Tavian Dunn-Martin led the way on 30 points with six assists. Michael Hughes provided 17 points with nine rebounds for the Dukes in that one, and Eric Williams chipped in 12 points with seven boards.
Over on the St. Louis side, they’re 18-11 this season. The Billikens dropped consecutive games to Dayton and VCU last month, but managed an 81-71 win over George Mason on Saturday.
In the win over the Patriots, St. Louis’ Jordan Goodwin topped the team on 24 points with eight rebounds and five assists. Both Javon Bess and Tramaine Isabell notched 17 points and four assists for the Billikens there with a combined seven rebounds.
The Dukes are 7-1 ATS in their last eight road games and 5-1 ATS in their last six overall. Duquesne is 6-2 ATS in the last eight after a straight-up win and 7-3-1 ATS in the last 11 Wednesday games.
Meanwhile, the Billikens are 4-1 ATS in their last five overall and 4-1 ATS in their last five versus the Atlantic 10. St. Louis is 3-10 ATS in their last 13 after an ATS win and 1-8 ATS in their last nine Wednesday games.
Duquesne hit the wall against an average Bonnies team and fell 68-47, but the team was able to bounce back 80-73 in the win over the Minutemen.
Still, taking out St. Louis at home will be a tall order for the Dukes, as they narrowly escaped 77-73 at home the last time these teams met up on January 23. With that in mind, even though the Dukes are pretty hot ATS right now I’m going to take the Billikens on the revenge cover here.
