The New Mexico Lobos travel to the San Diego State Aztecs in a MWC college basketball tilt.

The New Mexico Lobos fell to 2-2 in the Mountain West following a 91-76 loss at Colorado State on Saturday as a two point favorite.

New Mexico was looking at a ten point hole after 20 minutes never challenged with 16 turnovers and the Rams hitting shots at 56.1%.

Vance Jackson was the Lobos top scorer with 18 points, 12 rebounds and four assists with Anthony Mathis adding 16 points and three yanks.

New Mexico saw Makuach Maluach toss in 12 points followed by a ten point effort from Dane Kuiper while Keith McGee added eight points  and five helpers.

The San Diego State Aztecs look to regroup after a 62-48 loss to Air Force on Saturday as a 5.5 road favorite dropped the team to 2-2 in the conference.

San Diego State was done in by a 14 point first half and never recovered with the Falcons holding a slight 39%-38% shooting edge with nine more shots.

Jalen McDaniels was the Aztecs only double digit scorer with 18 points and eleven rebounds while Devin Watson added nine points, four pulls and four helpers.

Over is 11-3 in New Mexico last 14 road games and under is 7-2 in New Mexico last 9 overall and New Mexico are 3-7 ATS in their last 10 Tuesday games. Under is 6-2 in SDSU last 8 home games and SDSU are 14-6 ATS in their last 20 home games and under is 18-8-1 in SDSU last 27 overall. Under is 11-4 in the last 15 meetings and road team is 21-9 ATS in the last 30 meetings.

After watching San Diego State I don’t think I can give away all these points. On the flip side New Mexico might need more…

Pick:
New Mexico +6

I have been a sports fan since I was old enough to pick up a ball and have always been drawn to competition. I don't participate in sporting events any longer but I do like to provide my opinion on games and writing gives me that outlet. I won't always be right but I always put 100% in to every article I do whether it's the World Series or an 0-10 college football team. Mitch shares that same passion and allows me to express myself in my own way.
