Wednesday college basketball gives us a bout between the Wyoming Cowboys and the San Diego State Aztecs.
The Wyoming Cowboys have dropped two of three and are now 5th in the MWC following an 85-70 defeat at the UNLV Rebels as a 6.5 point road dog. Wyoming struggled in all phases with the Rebels holding a 46.2%-36.5% shooting advantage.
Hayden Dalton tried to keep the Cowboys competitive with 21 points and nine rebounds followed by Justin James with 14 points and seven boards. Alexander Aka Gorski gave Wyoming eleven points while Louis Adams added nine points and five assists.
The San Diego State Aztecs will be looking to regroup and move a few positions up in the conference standings. San Diego State has dropped three of four after an 83-58 loss at Nevada where the team was outshot 46.7%-33.9%.
Matt Mitchell topped the Aztecs at the offensive end with 12 points with Jalen McDaniels adding eleven points and eight boards. San Diego State saw ten points from Devin Watson while Malik Pope added nine points and 13 rebounds.
