Cal State Fullerton allowed Saint Mary’s to shoot 53.7% from the field and 52.4% from beyond the arc in the loss. The San Francisco Dons won their 2nd straight game and improved to 9-1 on the season after defeating the Eastern Washington Eagles, 85-63, this past Thursday. San Francisco led by just a 35-29 margin at halftime, however, had no trouble pulling away for the victory after the Dons offense dominated Eastern Washington in the 2nd half. San Francisco shot 51.7% from the field and 44.0% from beyond the arc in the victory. Leading the way for the Dons was Frankie Ferrari who had 15 points, 4 rebounds, 6 assists, and 2 steals.

The Titans are 14-3 ATS in their last 17 Sunday games, however, are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games overall. The Dons are 2-0-2 ATS in their last 4 games and 4-0-1 ATS in their last 5 home games vs. a team with a road winning % of less than .400.
San Francisco looks like they are in for a big season as although they haven’t played much in competition, they did beat California by 19 points on the road and gave Buffalo their toughest game of the season, in an 85-81 loss in Ireland. The Dons have been great on both ends of the court this season as they rank T-63rd in scoring offense, 10th in scoring defense, and 8th in rebound margin. Cal State Fullerton is better than their record indicates as they gave Arizona State all they could handle in a 2-OT loss and rank in the top-100 in both FG% & defensive FG%. I could see Cal State Fullerton hanging around early in this game, however, San Francisco is a really good team and as they have been outstanding at home, I’m taking the Dons to cover this spread.
