San Jose State Spartans +9 O/U: 144
The Colorado State Rams and the San Jose State Spartans will match up on the college basketball court Wednesday.
Colorado State sits at 9-16 on the season. Following a win over Air Force, the Rams have lost their last three straight games versus Nevada, Wyoming and San Diego State.
In the loss to the Aztecs, Colorado State’s lead scorer was Nicolas Carvacho, with 20 points and 12 rebounds to his credit. JD Paige added 16 points for the Rams there, and Adam Thistlewood had 11 points with two boards.
As for San Jose State, they’re currently 3-21 this year. The Spartans have lost their last 15 straight games, dropping to San Diego State, Boise State, New Mexico and UNLV in their last four.
In the loss to the Rebels, San Jose State’s top scorer was Michael Steadman on 16 points and seven rebounds. The Spartans also got double-digit performances out of Zach Cappell (11 points; nine assists) and Brae Ivey (10 points) there.
The Rams are 6-2-1 ATS in their last nine road games and 3-1-1 ATS in their last five versus a team with a losing straight-up record. Colorado State is 3-12-1 ATS in their last 16 Wednesday games and the over is 4-0 in their last four Wednesday games.
Meanwhile, the Spartans are 4-0 ATS in the last four home games and 18-39-3 ATS in their last 60 Wednesday games. San Jose State is 4-9 ATS in the last 13 overall and 0-4 ATS in their last eight after an ATS win.
There’s not much to get excited about these days when it comes to Colorado State; they’ve put up just 126 points across their last pair of games and allowed 145 to a couple of “meh” teams.
San Jose State has been even worse though, and they haven’t seen the right side of 70 points in any of their last four games. Not much intrigue here anywhere, but Colorado State should hold the cards.
