The surging Austin Peay Governors go on the road to oppose the Southeast Missouri State in an OVC college basketball bout.

The Austin Peay Governors have kicked off conference action 2-0 after downing visiting Morehead State 81-67 on Saturday as a 9.5 point favorite.

Five Governors score in double figures with Dayton Gumm leading the way with 20 points and ten rebounds followed by Chris Porter-Bunton with 19 points.

Austin Peay received 14 points and 13 rebounds from Jabari McGhee while Steve Harris and Terry Taylor tossed in 12 and eleven points and combined for 13 rebounds.

The Southeast Missouri Redhawks picked up a 74-69 overtime victory against Tennessee-Martin on Saturday as a three point home favorite which snapped a five game slide.

Southeast Missouri State controlled the scoreboard and leaned on Isaiah Gable who responded by pouring in 28 points and posting seven boards while Alex Caldwell added 17 points and five pulls.

Skyler Hogan gave SEMO eleven points, seven boards and three assists while Jonathan Dalton added eight points and five helpers.
