Southeast Missouri State Redhawks +14 O/U: 157
The Belmont Bruins and the Southeast Missouri State Redhawks will match up on the college basketball court Saturday.
Belmont currently sits at 24-4 this year. The Bruins are riding a nice 12-game win streak right now, and they’ve blown past Tennessee Tech, Eastern Illinois, SIUE and TN-Martin in their last four.
In the win over the Skyhawks, Belmont’s top scorer was Dylan Windler with 32 points and 12 rebounds. Nick Muszynski added 19 points and five boards for the Bruins in that one, and Grayson Murphy hauled in 16 rebounds.
Over on the Southeast Missouri State side, they’re 10-20 this year. The Redhawks are 2-2 in their last four games, falling to Austin Peay and Murray State with wins over Eastern Illinois and Tennessee State.
In their win over the Tigers, SEMO’s Skyler Hogan led the charge on 15 points and six rebounds. Isaiah Gable chipped in 14 points for the Redhawks in that one, and Jonathan Dalton put up 13 points with five assists.
The Bruins are 3-0-1 ATS in their last four overall and 6-1 ATS in their last seven road games. Belmont is 5-1-1 ATS in their last seven Saturday games and 5-2-1 ATS in their last eight after an ATS win.
Meanwhile, the Redhawks are 0-6-1 ATS in the last seven after a straight-up win and 0-3-1 ATS in their last four after an ATS win. The over is 7-0 in the Redhawks’ last seven overall and 5-1 in their last six home games.
It’s been a while since Belmont has been tested in any way. You have to look all the way back to a 96-92 win over Austin Peay back on January 26 to find a game the Bruins didn’t win by at least 10 points.
That said, 14 points on the road is a lot to give up here, and with SEMO putting up at least 70 in four of their last five games, I’m going to go with the Redhawks on the home cover. The over here looks pretty good, too.
