The Georgetown Hoyas and the Seton Hall Pirates will match up on the college basketball circuit Wednesday.

Georgetown is currently sitting at 15-9 on the season. The Hoyas are just 1-2 in their last three games, with a win over Providence sandwiched between losses to Villanova and Butler during that stretch.

In the loss to the Bulldogs, Georgetown’s Mac McClung led the team with 21 points, four rebounds and two assists. Jamorko Pickett added 18 points, five rebounds and one assist for the Hoyas in that defeat as well.

Over on the Seton Hall side, they’re 14-9 this year. Following a four-game losing streak, the Pirates have won two of their last three, falling to Butler and beating Providence and Creighton.

In the win over the Bluejays, Seton Hall’s Myles Powell provided 22 points with seven rebounds and one assist to lead the team. The only other Pirates scorer in double-figures was Quincy McKnight with 14 points, but Sandro Mamukelashvili pulled down 10 rebounds.

The Hoyas are 4-1 ATS in their last five after an ATS loss and 13-4 ATS in their last 17 road games. Georgetown is 9-19-1 ATS in their last 29 overall and 2-6 ATS in their last eight Wednesday games.

Meanwhile, the Pirates are 1-4 ATS in their last five Wednesday games and 1-5 ATS in their last six after an ATS win. Seton Hall is 1-6 ATS in their last seven home games and the under is 4-0 in their last four overall.

Georgetown has had a couple of stumbles lately—namely the 73-69 home loss to Butler in their last outing—but for the most part they’ve been competitive, even in games they lose.

As for Seton Hall, it’s tough to know what to expect from them on a game-to-game basis, but their points totals haven’t been great (68 or fewer in six of their last seven). I’m going to stick with the Hoyas to bang one out here and cover.

Georgetown Hoyas +5
