The Golden Eagles are 8-3-1 ATS in their last 12 Thursday games and 5-2 ATS in their last 7 road games. The Cougars are 11-23 ATS in their last 34 games vs. a team with a winning % below .400 and just 1-4-1 ATS in their last 6 games overall.
Tennessee Tech have lost 12 of their last 13 games and currently rank T-288th in scoring offense, 291st in scoring defense, and 209th in defensive FG%.
SIU-Edwardsville has lost 5 of their last 6 games and although their offense has been decent as it ranks 165th in scoring offense, the Cougars defense has really struggled as they currently rank just 344th in scoring defense and 350th in defensive FG%.
Tennessee Tech was able to defeat SIU-Edwardsville by a 78-69 margin in OT earlier this season, however, it’s been a struggle for the Golden Eagles on the road this season as they are just 2-12 on the road this season. SIU-Edwardsville has lost the last 5 games in this match-up and as I just can’t trust the Cougars defense even at home, I’m taking the Golden Eagles and the points in this one.
