|Date & Time||Saturday December 22, 2018, 8:00 PM (EST)|
The Line: South Dakota State Jackrabbits -7.5 -- Over/Under: 145.5
The Montana Grizzlies and the South Dakota State Jackrabbits will meet up on the college basketball court Saturday.
Montana enters this one at 6-4 on the season. So far, the Grizzlies have recorded losses courtesy of GA Southern, Creighton, UC Irvine and Arizona.
In the Wildcats game, Montana’s Ahmaad Rorie logged 19 points with six rebounds to lead the team. The only other Grizzlies player in double-figures there was Michael Oguine with 10 points and six rebounds.
Over on the South Dakota State side, they’re 10-4 this season. The Jackrabbits’ wins have come against Grand Canyon, Alabama State, Bemidji State, UTSA, CO State, UMKC, Northern Iowa, Southern U, Savannah State and Eastern Washington.
In the Eagles game, South Dakota State’s Mike Daum doubled up on 27 points with 11 rebounds—both team highs—and Skyler Flatten had a nice outing with 20 points and five rebounds. Tevin King also had a double-double for SDST on 11 points and 10 rebounds.
The Grizzlies are 1-5 ATS in their last six versus the Summit and 2-6-1 ATS in their last nine Saturday games. Montana is 0-9 ATS in their last nine road games and 0-6 ATS in their last six overall.
Meanwhile, the Jackrabbits are 7-1 ATS in their last eight following an ATS win and 14-3 ATS in their last 17 Saturday games. SDST is 7-2 ATS in their last nine non-conference games and 37-17 ATS in their last 54 overall.
Montana had been showing signs of an offensive slowdown over their previous two games, but things hit the gutter with a 61-42 loss to the Wildcats their last time out. That means the Grizzlies have put up 60 points or fewer in each of their last three outings.
The Jackrabbits have been scoring way better lately, so I’m going to go with SDST on the cover here.
