South Dakota State jumped all over the Bison early in the one and had no trouble securing the victory after taking a 44-25 lead at halftime. The Mavericks are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 road games and 5-2 ATS in their last 7 games following an ATS win. The Jackrabbits are 15-4 ATS in their last 19 Saturday games and 25-10 ATS in their last 35 games vs. Summit League opponents.
Omaha has won 9 of their last 10 games and although their defense can give up points as they rank 311th in scoring defense & 328th in defensive FG%, the Mavericks have a solid offense that ranks 51st in scoring offense, 43rd in FG%, and 15th in 3P-FG%. South Dakota State has won 6 of their last 7 games and has one of the better offenses in all of College Basketball as they rank 13th in scoring offense, 3rd in FG%, and 4th in 3P-FG%.
Omaha has been playing some great basketball as of late, however, I’m concerned that their going to have no answers for Mike Daum and the Jackrabbits offense. South Dakota State is 9-1 at home this season and as the Jackrabbits have a defense that can give Omaha some trouble, I think South Dakota State does enough to cover this large home spread.
