South Dakota Coyotes -8 O/U: 140.5
The Oral Roberts Golden Eagles and the South Dakota Coyotes will meet up on the college basketball circuit Sunday.
Oral Roberts enters this one with a 9-17 mark on the season. Following a four-game losing streak versus Denver, ND State, SD State and Fort Wayne, the Eagles managed a win over Denver in their last outing.
In the win over the Pioneers, Oral Roberts’ top scorer was Kevin Obanor, with 28 points and 12 rebounds. Sam Kearns and Kaelen Malone each bagged 11 points for the Eagles in that one, combining for six rebounds and six assists.
Over on the South Dakota side, they’re 9-14 this season. Following a win over North Dakota, the Coyotes have lost their last three straight games versus Western Illinois, Fort Wayne and Omaha.
In the OT loss to the Mavericks, South Dakota’s Stanley Umude led the way on 24 points with 10 rebounds. Triston Simpson also scored 24 points, while Cody Kelley chipped in 18 points of his own.
The Eagles are 4-1 ATS in their last five Sunday games and 1-4 ATS in their last five road games. The over is 8-3 in their last 11 road games and 7-3 in their last 10 Sunday games.
Meanwhile, the Coyotes are 14-5 ATS in their last 19 Sunday games and 2-8 ATS in their last 10 following an ATS loss. South Dakota is 1-5 ATS in the last six home games and 1-5 ATS in their last six versus the Summit.
The Eagles weren’t great in the first two games of their losing streak, but got better against SD State (86-80) and Fort Wayne (82-81) to finally get over the hump and back in the win column versus Denver (78-65).
As for the Coyotes, they’ve coughed up a whopping 209 points across their last two games, which should cause the Oral Roberts squad to salivate in anticipation. I’m going to say the Eagles take advantage here and manage a cover.
