The South Dakota Coyotes snapped their 3-game losing streak after defeating the Denver Pioneers, 71-70, this past Wednesday. South Dakota State has won just 3 of their last 5 games, however, two of those losses have come against very good teams in Nevada & Montana. The Jackrabbits have one of the more explosive offenses in the country as they rank 12th in scoring offense & 9th in FG%, however, the defense can give up some points as they rank just 217th in scoring defense. South Dakota has lost 5 of their last 8 games although their defense has been solid, their offense ranks just 326th in scoring offense & 245th in FG%.
South Dakota State has the best player in the Summit in Mike Daum and as I’ve just not been impressed by how the Coyotes have looked this season, I think South Dakota State will be able to do enough on the road to give this mid-range spread.
