Thursday college basketball brings us to the OVC where the Southeast Missouri State Redhawks visit the SIU-Edwardsville Cougars.

The Southeast Missouri State Redhawks are in the midst of a four game slide after a narrow 70-68 defeat to Abilene Christian as a 3.5 point home favorite.

The Redhawks shot the ball well at 49% but turned the ball over 23 times and were outscored at the stripe 20-9 which was the difference.

Ledarrius Brewer paced a balance SE Missouri State offense with 15 points on 6-11 accuracy while Skyler Hogan tossed in 14 points on 5-11 shooting including four long balls.

Jonathan Dalton gave the Redhawks 13 points and seven rebounds on 4-7 from the floor and 4-5 at the line followed Oscar Kao with eight points.

The SIU-Edwardsville Cougars are looking for a third consecutive victory after upending sub-division Missouri A&T 79-66. SIUE jumped to a 14 point lead at the halfway point behind 53.6% shooting.

Cameron Williams gave the Cougars 16 points and four pulls with Brandon Jackson and Tyreese Williford scored 13 points each with a combined 12 rebounds.

SIU-Edwardsville received eleven points and five boards followed by Daniel Kinchen with nine points and four pulls.

Under is 8-3-1 in SEMO last 12 overall and SEMO are 3-8 ATS in their last 11 Thursday games and over is 13-5 in SEMO last 18 vs. Ohio Valley. SIUE are 7-3 ATS in their last 10 vs. Ohio Valley. SEMO are 2-8 ATS in the last 10 meetings and over is 11-3 in the last 14 meetings.
