Sunday College basketball features the Bradley Braves visiting the Southern Illinois Salukis.

The Bradley Braves are in the middle of a six game slide following a 69-52 loss against Drake as a 3.5 point home favorite.

Bradley managed only 15 first half points and never challenged with 31.1% marksmanship that negated eleven more shot attempts.

Elijah Fields was the Braves top offensive threat with 15 points and 13 rebounds with Dwayne Lautier-Ogunleye adding 13 points and four pulls.

Bradley received ten points from Luqman Lundy followed by Darrell Brown and Luuk van Bree with six and four points with van Bree grabbing six boards.

The Southern Illinois Salukis are staring at a three game skid after a 59-58 defeat to Illinois State as a one point road dog.

Southern Illinois trailed by eight points at the half with a late rally falling short despite a 41.5%-36.2% shooting advantage.

Armon Fletcher kept the Salukis competitive with 17 points and nine rebounds while Eric McGill added ten points and four pulls.

Southern Illinois saw nine points from Marcus Bartley followed by Aaron Cook and Kavion Pippen with six points each and eight boards.

Under is 8-0 in Bradley last 8 vs. Missouri Valley and Bradley are 5-14 ATS in their last 19 road games and Bradley are 7-19 ATS in their last 26 games overall. Under is 7-1 in SIU last 8 overall and SIU are 8-2 ATS in their last 10 Sunday games and under is 9-4 in SIU last 13 Sunday games. Favorite is 6-2-1 ATS in the last 9 meetings.

Bradley struggles on the road so I’ll lay the points with the Salukis who need this badly…

Pick:
Southern Illinois -8 (line drop to 6.5/7)

I have been a sports fan since I was old enough to pick up a ball and have always been drawn to competition. I don't participate in sporting events any longer but I do like to provide my opinion on games and writing gives me that outlet. I won't always be right but I always put 100% in to every article I do whether it's the World Series or an 0-10 college football team. Mitch shares that same passion and allows me to express myself in my own way.
