The UAB Blazers hit the road to face CUSA college basketball rival the Southern Miss Golden Eagles.

The Alabama-Birmingham Blazers are eyeing another win after knocking off Western Kentucky 68-60 as a 6.5 point road favorite.

UAB has an outside chance of moving up the conference standings from 6thbut there are only three games left in the season.

Zack Bryant carried the Blazers with 24 points, six boards and four assists with Tavin Lovan tossing in 13 points and hauling in 13 rebounds.

Lewis Sullivan gave Alabama-Birmingham ten points and seven boards followed by Makhtar Gueye who added seven points and three yanks.

The Southern Mississippi Golden Eagles stayed red hot with a 77-47 rout of the UTEP Miners as a nine point home favorite.

Southern Mississippi has been racking up the wins with six straight that has lifted the team to second in the conference behind ODU.

LaDavius Draine carried the Golden Eagles with a contest 24 points while Tyree Griffin with 12 points, five pulls and eight helpers.

Southern Miss saw 12 points and nine rebounds from Leonard Harper-Baker followed Kevin. Holland and Cortez Edwards with nine and seven points.
