The Montana Grizzlies visit the Southern Utah Thunderbirds in Big Sky college basketball action.

The Montana Grizzlies are looking for their third straight win after downing Northern Arizona 86-73 as an eleven point road favorite on Saturday.  

This was an even game through 20 minutes before Montana took control with a 46-32 second half run behind 54.2% shooting.

Ahmaad Rorrie paced the Grizzlies with a contest high 24 points on 10-16 marksmanship including four long balls while Jamar Akoh added 22 points and nine rebounds on 8-11 from the floor and 6-11 at the line.

Bobby Moorehead and Michael Oguine gave Montana eleven points each and a combined eight boards followed by Sayeed Pridgett with nine points, six pulls and five helpers.

The Southern Utah Thunderbirds opened their Big Sky schedule with a 92-62 loss to visiting Montana State as a six point home favorite.

Southern Utah trailed by 16 points heading to the intermission and continued to struggle over the final 20 minutes with 37.7% shooting.

Jacob Calloway topped the Thunderbirds offense with 18 points and eight rebounds on 7-13 accuracy while Cameron Oluyitan added 14 points and another eight rebounds on 6-11 from the floor.

Maizen Fausett and Harrison Butler rounded out the top Southern Utah contributors with eight points apiece.

Montana  are 2-9 ATS in their last 11 road games and Montana are 2-6 ATS in their last 8 games overall. Over is 36-16-1 in Southern Utah last 53 home games and Southern Utah are 12-25-2 ATS in their last 39 home games.
