North Carolina Central made a great run last year as the 6-seed in the MEAC to win their conference championship and should once against be competitive as they returned 4 of 5 starters, including Raasean Davis. Southern has played some tough competition to start the season however, they are really struggling on both ends of the court as they rank 341st in scoring offense & 330th in scoring defense. The line has yet to be released however, North Carolina State is a solid team who should have a huge advantage on the boards and although I think they’ll be favored by 6-8 points, I’m initially leaning on taking the Eagles.
Update (9:55 AM) - This spread is a bit less than I expected and I'm sticking with North Carolina Central to cover. Good Luck!
