Saturday college basketball brings us to the Atlantic Ten semifinal bout between the St. Bonaventure Bonnies and the Rhode Island Rams.

The Rhode Island Rams pulled a sizeable upset in knocking off the VCU Rams 75-70 to advance to the Atlantic Ten semifinals.

Jeff Dowtin keyed the Rams upset with 22 points and three yanks with Tyrese Martin adding 13 points, five pulls and three assists.

Rhode Island saw 12 points and six boards from Dana Tate followed by Christion Thompson and Cyril Langevine with eleven and seven points with Langevine grabbing nine rebounds.

The St. Bonaventure Bonnies knocked off the George Mason Patriots 68-57 on Friday afternoon in the Atlantic Ten quarterfinals.

St. Bonaventure rode the one, two punch of Kyle Lofton and Dominick Welch with the duo pouring in 20 points each with a combined eight boards and six helpers.

LaDarien Griffin gave the Bonnies ten points and eleven rebounds followed by Osun Osunnyi who chipped in with seven points, eight rebounds, three assists and three blocks.
