The Richmond Spiders and the St. Louis Billikens will meet up on the college basketball court Thursday in the Atlantic 10 Tournament.

Richmond enters this one with a 13-19 mark overall. The Spiders had lost four in a row heading into the Atlantic 10 Tournament, but were able to power out a two-point victory over Fordham on Wednesday.

In the win over the Rams, Richmond’s lead scorer was Nathan Cayo with 15 points and seven rebounds. Noah Yates added 10 points and five rebounds for the Spiders there, and Grant Golden had nine points, seven assists and 11 rebounds.

St. Louis comes into this game with a 19-12 mark overall. The Billikens won consecutive games versus George Mason and Duquesne but lost their last outing to St. Bonaventure.

In the loss to the Bonnies, St. Louis’ lead scorer was Tramaine Isabell with 21 points, 12 rebounds and six assists. Hasahn French also finished in double-figures for the Billikens on 14 points and four rebounds.

Richmond is 5-1 ATS in their last six after an ATS loss and 5-2-1 ATS in their last eight Thursday games. The Spiders are 2-5 ATS in their last seven after a straight-up win and the over is 37-17-1 in their last 55 overall.

Meanwhile, the Billikens are 5-0 ATS in their last five Thursday games and 4-0 ATS in their last four after a straight-up loss. St. Louis is 5-2 ATS in their last seven overall and 5-2 ATS in their last seven versus the Atlantic 10.

St. Louis really didn’t have it against the Bonnies in their last game, scoring just 27 points in the first half and 30 in the second. In the two games prior to that, the Billikens had scored a total of 166 points, so it’s something they’ll need to bounce back from here.

As for Richmond, they put up just 52 points versus Fordham, but the good news is they held the Rams to 50. Considering how the Spiders stumbled coming into the tournament however, I have to go St. Louis here.
