Saint Mary’s was outstanding on the offensive end agianst the Lions and had no trouble securing the victory after taking a 45-26 halftime lead. The Broncos are 7-1 ATS in their last 8 games overall and 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games following an ATS win. The Gaels are 7-1 ATS in their last 8 home games and 10-3-1 ATS in their last Thursday games.
Santa Clara has won 7 of their last 9 games and come into this game ranked 129th in FG%, 70th in 3P-FG%, and 117th in defensive FG%. Saint Mary’s has won 3 of their last 4 games and has been solid on both ends of the court this season as they rank 96th in scoring offense, 19th in FG%, and 48th in scoring defense.
Santa Clara has picked up some nice wins against USC & San Diego this season, however, the Broncos can at times struggle on the offensive end as they recently put up just 48 points against Gonzaga. Saint Mary’s is 8-2 ATS at home this season, which included a 22-point victory over BYU in their last home game, and although this is a bunch of points, I think Saint Mary’s will be able to win this one by 20 and cover this spread. Take Saint Mary’s to cover.
