The Duke Blue Devils look for another win after winning 10 of their last 12 games. The Duke Blue Devils are averaging 85.9 points on 48 percent shooting and allowing 67 points on 39.7 percent shooting. RJ Barrett is averaging 23.1 points and 7.6 rebounds while Zion Williamson is averaging 21.6 points and 2.2 assists. Cam Reddish is the third double-digit scorer and Tre Jones is dishing 5.4 assists. The Duke Blue Devils are shooting 30.6 percent from beyond the arc and 68.5 percent from the free throw line. The Duke Blue Devils are allowing 29 percent shooting from deep and are grabbing 42.2 rebounds per game. The Duke Blue Devils have won all six road games this season.
The Syracuse Orange look for a statement win after winning seven of their last 10 games. The Syracuse Orange are averaging 70 points on 42.4 percent shooting and allowing 63.7 points on 39.2 percent shooting. Tyus Battle is averaging 17.2 points and 3.2 rebounds while Elijah Hughes is averaging 13.8 points and 1.5 assists. The Blue Devils are 8-2 ATS in their last 10 games following a straight up loss. The Orange are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 home games, 10-4 ATS in their last 14 vs. Atlantic Coast and 11-4 ATS in their last 15 games overall. The Blue Devils are 1-4 ATS in the last 5 meetings and the underdog is 4-1 ATS in the last 5 meetings. The under is 4-1 in Orange last 5 overall. The under is 7-2 in Blue Devils last 9 overall.
The Syracuse Orange already beat Duke this season, holding the Blue Devils to just 38.8 percent shooting and 9-43 from deep. You have to be able to make shots to beat this Syracuse zone, and it's something Duke hasn't been able to do consistently this season. Duke is also expected to be without Zion Williamson for this contest, which makes Duke much more beatable and removes a major factor in the post. Hughes and Brissett could have a field day in the paint this time around. We also can't ignore that Syracuse has covered 11 of its last 15 games, so this is a team you probably should have considered backing even without the Zion news. Either way, give me the Orange and the free buckets.
