The TCU Horned Frogs improved to 4-1 on the season after defeating the Eastern Michigan Eagles, 87-69, this past Monday. TCU started off slow, however, the offensive had no trouble putting points up on the board agianst the Eagles defense and cruised to victory after taking a 56-38 lead with 12:41 left in regulation. TCU shot 60.7% from the field and 42.3% from beyond the arc in the victory. Central Michigan has a balanced team and has had a nice start to their season, however, the Chippewas really haven’t faced much in terms of competition this season. TCU dropped a tough game to Lipscomb earlier this season however, the Horned Frogs have top-25 talent and is better team than we saw earlier this season now that they have Kouat Noi and Jaylen Fisher back in the lineup. The Horned Frogs defense should give the Chippewas some trouble in this one and as TCU should be able to protect the basketball agianst a Central Michigan team that has done a decent job creating turnovers, I’m taking TCU to cover his large home spread.
